According to Wikipedia “Sport management is a field of education concerning the business aspect of sport. Some examples of sport managers include the front office system in professional sports, college sports managers, recreational sport managers, sports marketing, event management, facility management, sports economics, sport finance, and sports information. Many colleges and universities offer bachelors and masters degrees in sport management.”
This article isn’t about that. Instead it is about one fighters campaign for the opportunity to fight on the card for his hometown’s local promotion; Strikehard Productions in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Taking matters into his own hands Robert Thompson has launched his video campaign to be listed as a fighter on the card. Their next event is SHP 16 on May 12 at Killer Buzz Arena in T-town. Their last event, April 14 was a giant success with DJ Taylor and Cody Eason as main event.
The fight card for the May event has not been released yet. Will it include Robert “Machinegunruccus” ? Has he achieved the perfect approach for getting on a fightcard? Machinegunruccus style?
Guess we will have to wait and see.
